ERASMUS+ outside European Union
The ERASMUS+ cooperation with universities outside the EU is called "ERASMUS+ with Partner Countries" (KA 171). We coordinate such projects for the exchange of students and staff with partner universities to intensify already running cooperations.
Recently we are leading the project "2025-1-DE-KA171-HED-000341800", running from 1.8.25 till 31.7.28.
Our project partners are:
- Ukraine: Odessa National Economics University, Dnipro National University Oles Honchar
- Georgia: Georgian National University
- Jordan: German Jordanian University
- India: Marwadi University, Savitribai Phule Pune University
- USA: University of New Mexico
ERASMUS+ grants are available for a limited number of students and staff in this project. They are awarded through selection meetings at the sending university in cooperation with Mittweida University of Applied Science according to the ERASMUS+ criteria. Interested students and staff apply via their own ERASMUS+ coordinator.
Furthermore, through an university consortium of the German-Kazakh University in Kazakhstan, we have been participating in an ERASMUS+ project since 2018 for the exchange of teachers and students and the development of dual programs.
