ERASMUS+ outside European Union

Belarus, Cameroon, Ghana, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine

The cooperation outside the European Union is called ERASMUS+ with partner countries (KA 107). We coordinate projects with the following partner universities to exchange students and staff

for our Faculty of Industrial Engineering:

  • Belarus: Belarusian State University, Faculty of Economics (2018-21)
  • Russia: Russian University of Transport, Institute for International Transport Communication (2018-21)
  • Ukraine: National Economics University Odessa, Chair of Prof. Olga Degtiareva (2018-21)

for our Faculty of Applied Computer and Bio Sciences:

  • Cameroon: African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), University of Buea, Université of Yaoundé 1 (2019-22)
  • Ghana: University of Ghana (2019-22)

Furthermore we are involved in ERASMUS+ projects with the

  • German Kazakh University (DKU) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. coordinated by Hochschule Schmalkalden

Coordinated by Leonardo Office Saxony as Saxon consortial office:

  • Belarus: Belarusian State University, Faculty of Economics (2020-22)
  • Belarus: Belarus State Economic University (2020-22)
  • New Zealand: Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) in Invercargill (2028-21)

There is a small number of ERASMUS+ scholarships for students. They are provided by Hochschule Mittweida in cooperation with the partner university based on ERASMUS+-criteria. Students apply to their project leader at the home university.

Through the Leonardo Office at Technical University Dresden we receive placements for internships for our own students with ERASMUS+ funding.
