Exchange students

Who?

Exchange students are international students who come to Mittweida University of Applied Sciences for one or two semesters to complete an exchange semester. They remain enrolled at their home university and receive a transcript of records at the end of the exchange. They can then have their achievements recognized at their home university.

How?

You can find the available exchange places in our search portal for incoming students from partner universities. It is possible to search by country and institution.

What?

The International Office is your contact for all questions regarding your stay:

  • Type of stay (study program, project work, thesis)
  • Advice on the study program, selection of modules, also across faculties
  • Support with registration and integration into university life

Degree-seeking students

Who?

Degree-seeking students are international students who undertake their entire studies at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. After completing their studies, they receive their degree certificate from our university.

If you do not yet have the relevant language certificates, it is possible to take a German language examination (DSH-2) at our preparatory college (Studienkolleg).
