ERASMUS+ SMP
Visit International Office for information!
ERASMUS+ SMP exchange programme To promote internships in other European countries, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences cooperates with the LEONARDO-BÜRO SACHSEN. This is a joint internship office of Saxon universities, colleges and vocational academies based at the TU Dresden. It advises on compulsory and voluntary internships related to studies (ERASMUS+ SMP). The application for funding takes place paperlessly via MoveOn as soon as you have found a specific place. In the online application, you also provide information about the host institution and the internship, among other things. Please ask the host institution to provide you with all the requested information in advance. You can apply to the Leonardo office with internship offers you have found yourself via the move on database. If you are interested in contact details of potential internship institutions independently of your own research, please send a copy of your current enrolment certificate to auslandspraktikum.leosachsen@tu-dresden.de and ask informally for relevant contact details to be sent to you.
You can search for a place at our partner in the UK, at the University of Bradford and use it to apply to the Leonardo office.
You can still do an internship through ERASMUS+ up to 12 months after graduation. To do this, you must submit an informal "Application for Graduate Funding" to the Leonardo office by email at least one day before you leave the university.
Attention: If you start your internship abroad at very short notice and do not manage to fill out the online form completely before the start, please write an informal application for Erasmus funding by e-mail to: auslandspraktikum.leosachsen@tu-dresden.de in advance. However, you must then have sent a complete online application within 7 calendar days.
If you want to make an internship outside the EU please ask at Leonardo Büro too or you could apply for PROMOS scholarship in the International Office of Hochschule Mittweida.
