Blended Intensive Programmes

The ERASMUS+ programme offers an exchange format for students with 5-30 days stay abroad and an obligatory virtual study phase. It is called Blended Intensive Programme or BIP. Students need to obtain at least 3 ECTS. There are many examples how to organise such BIP´s. Hochschule Mittweida follows the strategic plan to maintain one BIP per faculty, running with 2 Erasmus+ partner universities. These BIP´s should rotate between the partners. The host university is responsible for the organisation of the BIP, supported by its International Office. Students need to sign a digital Learning Agreement, same as for normal ERASMUS+ stays after a normal online application for a stay abroad. The project leaders are funded via ERASMUS+ as teaching or training stays.

All BIP´s have planning instructions and regulations for the budget through the ERASMUS+ programme.
