DAAD STIBET

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides German universities with financial support for foreign students upon application. This programme is called STIBET. The funds are used for the academic and social integration of students. Mittweida University of Applied Sciences has participated in this programme for many years. STIBET funds are used to support the work of the Cosmopolitan Club, among other things. Part of the funding can be applied for in the form of scholarships. The university decides on the use of these scholarships via a selection committee in the International Office. The selection is based on criteria specified by the DAAD, which are supplemented by university-specific features.
